Heavy machinery workshop

With solid experience and comprehensive equipment, we perform repairs, maintenance and assembly for all heavy-duty vehicles in Joensuu. As a multi-brand repair shop, we service heavy machinery of all models and ages, such as trucks, trailers, wheel loaders, excavators, cranes, snowplows, graders and buses. Our comprehensive diagnostic equipment and professional staff ensure that maintenance is successful and reliable - on time. We are part of an international MECA Truck workshop chain.

RIIKO® Superstructures are made in Finland

RIIKO® is our own brand, whose main products are superstructures for trucks and trailers. RIIKO® Superstructures have been designed, manufactured and assembled in the city of Joensuu, Finland, for over 30 years. We are the only operator in our field that manufactures all superstructures in our own production chain. The Association for Finnish Work has awarded the Key Flag symbol to RIIKO® Superstructures, which serves as a strong indication of Finnish work. We thank all our customers for decades of trust in our products and work!

Production of RIIKO® Superstructures

We manufacture RIIKO® Timber, Gravel and Energy Superstructures brand-free for all trucks according to the special requirements of all axle and suspension options. Our RIIKO® Crane Brackets are also implemented in all crane models on the market. In our comprehensive range of equipment, you may choose the best options for your demands. We also produce lots of unique solutions from special crane brackets to small accessories according to customers wishes.

Retail and representative

In addition to our own production, our range consists branded products from well-known domestic and international manufacturers. We operate as an official retailer of Kesla Timber Cranes, Tamtron Timber Crane Scales and Kilafors Trailers. We also represent L5 Navigation Machine Control Systems, Meiren Road Maintenance Equipment and Joab hook lifts. In addition, we provide heavy machinery tires and rims and spare parts from a comprehensive range.

Heavy Machinery Inspection

Konekorjaamo Riikonen Oy's inspection station in connection with the workshop hall, serves heavy equipment customers in cooperation with Kuurnan Autokatsastus Oy. We inspect trucks, trailers and buses, and the service includes periodic, registration, modification, import and connection inspections, as well as inspection control and maintenance. It is easy to come to our inspection and the spacious drive-thru hall guarantees an effortless inspection visit.

Assembly and maintenance

We offer comprehensive heavy machinery assembly services. We carry out crane and lifting mechanism assembly on all crane brackets, trucks and work machines. We assembly timber and bulk cranes as well as tail lifts, cable lifts, tippers and hooklifts. All lifting equipment is also maintained, as well as periodic and 10-year inspected. In addition, we install road maintenance equipment brand-freely on all trucks and work machines. For example, we do the assembly of plow bumpers, hydraulics and electricity. We also assembly accessories you need, from coupling equipment to light installations.

Spare parts and tyres

We provide spare parts for heavy machinery such as trucks, trailers, work machines and cranes - directly from the shelf or with fast delivery. We also provide a wide selection of heavy-duty tires and rims in all price categories. Our range of tires covers all heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, trailers, wheel loaders, forestry machines, work machines and tractors. The range also includes for example snow chains and CTI tyre pressure systems.
