MEIREN KSM SIDE PLOW

Meiren's KSM-04 series side plow is designed for highway maintenance, where the side plow's good cleaning result and low noise level are important. It is possible to improve the cleaning ability by using a hydraulic slush blade system. The patented, road surface copying blade holders smoothly cross obstacles on the road surface. As a special solution, a side plow can be ordered for a hook lift truck with a replacement frame for the spreader and side plow brackets (model KSH). Available series products: KSM1904, KSM3104, KSM3704, KSM4604 and KSM5504.

POLYURETHANE BLADE HOLDER

Meiren's blade holder changes form and moves backwards, allowing the plow to move smoothly over the obstacle. At a speed of 40 km/h, it can easily pass an obstacle up to 12 cm high. The 305 mm long blocks of the blade holders enable the use of different blade lengths (305-1200 mm). Shorter blades follow the road surface the best. Blade holders made of polyurethane reduce the transmission of vibration to the plow body, which results in significantly less noise. The flexible blade holder saves road surface markings. Aggressive blade angle (50°) means less resistance in snow, saving fuel.

HYDRAULIC SLUSH BLADE MECHANISM

KSM-04 series snow plows are designed for highways and paved roads. Snow plows can be used to remove snow from the sides of roads by cutting the ridges of snow piles. The patented elastic polyurethane blade holder moves smoothly over obstacles on the road surface. The KSM04 truck side plow can be equipped with a hydraulic LH slush blade to achieve an optimal working results.

ASSEMBLY OF KSM SIDE PLOW

Assembled Meiren KSM5504 side plow. The total width of the wing is 5865 mm, equipped with e.g. polyurethane blade holders, blade set, pivot cylinder, cylinder for lightening/pressing the plow, set for adjusting the blade tilt angle, changeable shock-absorbing side blades, changeable side guard, snow guide with bolts, skid shoe, safety markings, Storbo LED light set, LED marker lights.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HYDRAULICS

Meiren control system for hydraulic works either with a joystick in the truck's cabin or with a wireless touch screen
The touch screen can be used to control the vehicle's hydraulics or to pre-set the hydraulic settings (equipment-specific operating speeds, pressures, etc.)
The touch screen is connected to the truck via Bluetooth and can be used outside the cabin, e.g. for installing the front plow or controlling other hydraulics
Meiren's touch screen software is an app, so it can be installed on any Android device
With Meiren's new control system, it is possible to use the plow's speed-sensitive pressure system
