MEIREN MSLN WITH SIDESHIFT

Meiren's MSLN-04 series light snow plows are designed for areas with little snow and medium-sized trucks (10.0 - 18.0 t). Snow plows are suitable for paved roads, such as highways, in cities and near cities, where good clearing results and low noise levels are important. Patented, road surface copying blade holders smoothly cross obstacles on the road surface and also enable road surface copying to achieve the best cleaning results. The sideshift of the snow plow makes working comfortable and efficient, especially when using a side plow. Snow plows can be ordered in different heights and shapes depending on the demands of the work. Available series products: MSLN3404, MSLN3704 and MSLN4004.

POLYURETHANE BLADE HOLDER

Meiren's blade holder changes form and moves backwards, allowing the plow to move smoothly over the obstacle. At a speed of 40 km/h, it can easily pass an obstacle up to 12 cm high. The 305 mm long blocks of the blade holders enable the use of different blade lengths (305-1200 mm). Shorter blades follow the road surface the best. Blade holders made of polyurethane reduce the transmission of vibration to the plow body, which results in significantly less noise. The flexible blade holder saves road surface markings. Aggressive blade angle (50°) means less resistance in snow, saving fuel.

LIFTING FRAME WITH SIDESHIFT

The patented lifting frame with sideshift enables the plow body to be moved laterally and at the same time also to raise the entire plow. Sideshift gives the driver more opportunities by moving the front plow. When combined with Meiren's 5.5 m side plow, the working width becomes up to 8.5 m. The lifting cylinder enables the plow to be lightened or pressed as needed, which guarantees extremely economical use of the blades. The plowing of the road surface and the slush blade guarantee a clean road surface in one ploughing, reducing the need to use salt.

SIDE BLADES

Instead of changeable side blades, available as an accessory are changeable two-part side blades. The upper blade is mounted on the plow wing and the lower one on the outermost blade holders made of polyurethane. When the main blade meets an obstacle, the lowest side blade attached to the blade supports moves backwards together with the main blade and makes it easier to overcome the obstacle. Available for models MSPN, MSLN, KSM-04.

SKID SHOES

Adjustable skid shoes prevent excessive wear of the blades on paved roads and gravel roads. The set includes skid shoe with a hard alloy plate and an adjustment mechanism. Available for models MSPN, MSKN, MSLN, KSM, LSPN, TSP02 and VTS02.

SNOWFLOW GUIDE

Snowflow guide is available fixed or adjustable with bolts. Using the guide keeps road signs clear of snow. Available for models MSPN, MSKN, MSLN and KSM-04.

BLADE SETS

The range includes steel and rubber blades of various sizes as well as installation accessories. Serrated rubber blades are reinforced with a special metal, and they last better than normal rubber blades in difficult conditions. Inside the blade are wear-resistant steel plate segments surrounded by rubber. Serrated rubber blades can be used on all plows instead of a regular rubber blade.

SUPPORT LEG

In the transport position, the lifting frame is placed on the support leg (for storage). The support leg can be ordered either mechanically or hydraulically adjustable. Available for models MSPN, MSLN, MSKN-03, LSPN.

SIDE PROTECTION

The side protection protects the snow plow’s wing. Side protection available as an accessory for models MSPN, MSKN, MSLN and KSM.

SUPPORT WHEELS

Adjustable support wheels reduce excessive wear of the steel blades when cleaning paved roads. The set includes a high-strength rim, an air-filled tire and an adjustment mechanism. Available for models MSPN, MSKN, MSLN, LSPN, TSP02 and VTS02. Cannot be used with a hydraulic slush blade.

CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HYDRAULICS

Meiren control system for hydraulic works either with a joystick in the truck's cabin or with a wireless touch screen
The touch screen can be used to control the vehicle's hydraulics or to pre-set the hydraulic settings (equipment-specific operating speeds, pressures, etc.)
